Well, as you can all imagine, the mess left in a pen by 5 puppies at this age is just atrocious. Tonight is the beginning of the crate-training.
Two breeder friends are hopefully visiting the litter soon, to help evaluate the pups. At that point, I should be able to start making a decision of pup placements.
The personalities on these pups is just to laugh at. Strong-willed but so playful, and loving. It will be so hard to let these babies go.
The girls!
Girl # 1: this week, she weighs in at 7lbs, 8.9oz...
Girl # 2: this week, she weighs in at 8lbs, 13.8oz...
The boys!
Boy # 1: this week, he weighs in at 10lbs, 0.6oz...
Boy # 2: this week, he weighs in at 8lbs, 11.8oz...
Boy # 3: this week, he weighs in at 10lbs, 4.4oz...
This will be the last week the weights are posted. The pups are all too big for the scale, and won't sit still in it long enough to get an accurate weight anyway.
For those of you watching them, the ears have set on all but Girl # 1 and Boy # 3. I can't say I've had a litter whose ears went properly as early as these guys.
